Anne Wedel-Klein new CEO of the nature network

October 1, 2024 – the nature network, led by MB-Holding, has a new person at the helm. Anne Wedel-Klein becomes CEO of the multinational group of companies specializing in botanical solutions for the tea, food & beverage, pharmaceutical and dietary supplement industries. Together with the CEOs of the divisions and Reyk Radojewski, she aims to guide the group through the next phase in its growth. He joined the company two years ago after almost 16 years in executive positions with Beiersdorf AG, mostly in Asia.

Clear strategic focus for Finzelberg and the entire group

Anne Wedel-Klein, who studied business administration, has been preparing intensively for her new role. She has worked in various positions at her family’s company for 13 years, with three of those years spent in the United States. Wedel-Klein joined the management board in 2016, taking responsibility among other things for Sustainability, which has special strategic significance for the nature network.

“I am following a clear strategic direction,” says Anne Wedel-Klein. “And I am confident that we will be able to continue along our path of sustainable growth over the coming years. I am very much looking forward to continuing my collaboration with Michael Braig and I see great growth potential for Finzelberg despite the constant shifts and changes in the market.”

Michael Braig, a business administration graduate, joined the nature network five years ago and has been CEO of Finzelberg ever since. Prior to that he spent 20 years working for various pharmaceutical companies such as Galderma, Reckitt Benckiser and Weleda, with a focus on OTC and consumer healthcare.

the nature network, a family business headquartered in the small south German town of Vestenbergsgreuth, was last led by Albert Ferstl, the group’s first non-family CEO. “We would like to thank Albert for his outstanding management of the company and his exceptional level of commitment,” says Adolf Wedel, chairman of the shareholder committee. “For 34 years he represented the best interests of our company and most recently he steered it through very challenging times. We wish him all the best in the next phase of his life.”
